Church of St. Maria Assunta

Church of St. Maria Assunta

Designed with a nave in late-Baroque style by the renowned architect from Viadana, Pietro Antonio Maggi, the interior is enriched with paintings by Scotti of Brescia and Morini of Viadana. It has a particularly fine 18C organ.

An alcove conserves the relics of St Prospero the Martyr.

The parish church conserves furnishings from the now lost churches of Panguaneta (also dedicated to St Mary of the Assumption) and St Prospero of Sacca.
