On 25 April 1979, pope John Paul II blessed the first stone of the new church of Cristo Redentore dell’Uomo, now nearly complete. It is opened for services that attract the largest number of worshippers; when numbers are fewer, the church dedicated to the Nativity of Mary continues to be used. Built in 1825, it now stands on the main road to the Cisa Pass.
