The parish church of the Spirito Santo in Buzzoletto dates from 1870 and contains frescoes by the painter Miolato of Verona and a Pentecost by Felice Araldi. It ensued from the subdivision of the parish of San Pietro.

In 1613, it was made an independent rectorate with a congregation consisting of six local families. The church remained in use until 1868, when the facade facing west was found to have become unsafe and was demolished to make way for the present church.

The design and management of the building work were entrusted to Parazzi, who completed the building with the erection of a new bell-tower at the end of the last century, and the parish priest Alessandro Corbari. St Julius and St Agatha are co-patron saints of the parish.
